Not always. For custom-fit car mats, FloorLiners and CargoLiners, the vehicle year is essential.

Even if the car model name is the same, the generation, facelift, restyling or production details may change from one year to another.

When a vehicle generation changes, several areas may also change, including:

• interior shape;
• floor layout;
• boot or cargo area;
• mat retention points;
• vehicle measurements.

In some cases, even within the same generation, a facelift or production update may introduce small but important differences, such as added, removed or repositioned fixing hooks, changes to the floor layout or changes in the boot area.

For example, if your vehicle belongs to the 2025-2026 generation, you should not select a product listed for a previous generation, such as 2020-2024. Similarly, two vehicles that look very similar but were produced in different years may require different mats or CargoLiners.

Even if the model name is identical, the product may therefore not be compatible.

To avoid mistakes, always enter the correct make, model, year and version of your vehicle.
