Yes, this can happen. During shipping or packaging, some WeatherTech mats may arrive slightly folded or curved. CargoLiner trunk liners, however, may arrive rolled for logistical reasons, especially when they are large products.

This is a temporary condition. WeatherTech mats and cargo liners are made with shape-memory materials designed to gradually return to their original shape after being curved or deformed during transport.

To help the product return to its correct shape, we recommend that you:

  1. remove the product from the packaging as soon as possible;
  2. place it on a flat surface, preferably with the curved area facing down;
  3. leave it at room temperature or near a moderate heat source, such as a radiator, while avoiding excessive or direct heat;
  4. place some evenly distributed heavy objects, such as books or non-sharp weights, on top of the mat or CargoLiner;
  5. allow the material enough time to settle gradually.

Do not use flames, heat guns, high-temperature hair dryers or intense heat sources, as they may damage the material.

Important: a CargoLiner may be rolled, but it must not be folded. Folding a trunk liner may cause marks, permanent deformation or material damage.

Before installing the product in the vehicle, always make sure it is properly laid out and correctly positioned. For the driver-side mat, carefully check that it does not interfere with the accelerator, brake or clutch pedal and that it is secured to the required retention points.

If, after normal settling, the product remains heavily deformed, does not fit correctly or you have doubts about vehicle compatibility, contact us at [email protected] or +39 0522 1753291, including your order number and photos of the installed product.
