Yes. Before installing WeatherTech FloorLiner or any other WeatherTech floor mat, you must remove all original or previously installed mats from the vehicle.

Floor mats must never be stacked. Installing one mat on top of another can affect the fit, reduce stability and create potentially dangerous situations, especially on the driver side.

For proper installation:

• remove the original floor mats or any other mats already in the vehicle;
• clean the vehicle floor from dirt, small stones, sand or other debris;
• install the WeatherTech mat directly on the vehicle floor;
• attach it to the original retention points or to the system provided, where applicable;
• check that the mat is stable and cannot slide forward.

This is especially important for the driver-side mat: the accelerator, brake and clutch, if present, must always move freely without any interference.
