Installing WeatherTech floor mats is simple, but it must be done correctly to ensure proper fit and driving safety.

Before installation, check that you have received the correct product by comparing, when available, the part number on the label or packaging with the one shown in your order.

Follow these steps:

  1. remove all original or previously installed floor mats;
  2. remove dirt, sand or debris from the vehicle floor;
  3. identify the correct driver, passenger or rear floor mat;
  4. place the WeatherTech mat directly on the vehicle floor;
  5. secure it to the original retention points or to the retention system provided, where applicable;
  6. always check that the accelerator, brake and clutch, if present, move freely without interference.

The driver-side mat must be installed with particular care. It must never be placed over the pedals or in a way that limits their movement: the pedals must always move freely through their full range.

After installation, check that the mat is stable, correctly positioned and properly secured. If it is removed during cleaning, servicing or workshop work, always check that it has been reinstalled correctly before driving.

If the mat does not sit correctly, does not attach to the retention points or interferes even slightly with the pedals, do not drive with the mat installed and contact us at [email protected], including your order number, vehicle model and a few photos.
